Unitalen Wins Domain Name Dispute on behalf of Japan Brother Industries Ltd.

China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission makes the arbitrament on the “brother.cn” domain name dispute lodged by Japan Brother Industries Ltd. (Japan Brother) against Xiamen Huixun Technology Ltd. According to the arbitrament, the domain name shall be assigned to the Japan Brother. As the representing attorney, Unitalen helps to win the domain name and protect the legal right of Japan Brother successfully.

Japan Brother carved out its way as early since 1908 and established formally in 1934. Focusing on developing and producing varieties of sartorius in the early period, Japan Brother gradually diversified its products. The trademark “brother” came into use from 1928 and has been registered in lots of countries and regions around the world. Japan Brother began to register the mark “brother” in China on 1981 and obtained the registration in Classes 2, 7, 9, 11 and 16, which are all within the valid period by now.
