Professional Experience

Ms. Huang has been practicing for more than 6 years and has represented a variety of clients and has accumulated extensive practical experience in trademark prosecution and IP enforcement. Her focused areas are trademark clearance, acquisition, maintenance, licensing, enforcement, copyright and domain names.

Ms. Huang has published a number of articles in The Trademark Lawyer magazine and other influential local magazines and newspapers, sharing her insights on issues such as merchandising rights in China, evidence collection in trademark non-use cancellation and protection of foreign brand owners’ trademark rights at China Trade Shows.

It is worth mentioning that Ms. Huang and her team members successfully assisted Dreadnought Inc. (also known as Martin Guitar) with regaining the company’s rightful ownership of three of its legendary trademarks in China. -----"I think it is incredibly important to note that we regained our trademarks in the PRC solely through processes afforded us in the Chinese government administrative agencies and the Chinese courts”, says Greg Paul, Chief Technology Officer of the company, “In short, while it has taken some time, the Chinese legal system ultimately got it right. This is not the story people are used to hearing about China and intellectual property."
